Calling Out

Christ has called us to serve those outside of our inner circles, we are to love and serve those who we are not so comfortable doing life with. In looking at the life of Christ and where he spent his time and efforts we see that he invested in the twelve who walked with him and at the same time he served, healed, fed and loved others.

The second most important commandment that Jesus gives us is to "love your neighbor as yourself." We often think of our neighbor as the person living next to us or those near to us when actually our neighbor according to Jesus is the person who has been attacked, beaten up and left for dead.(Luke 10:25-37)

Jesus Said

- "Love your neighbor as yourself"
- "Do this and you will live"
- "If you love the least of these, you have loved me."
- "Go and do likewise"

I have to brag on my wife a little bit. She is having a gathering for some women from our church and from our community tomorrow.

Zeke has befriended a young man from our neighborhood.

I am excited about the Starting Point group. They are hungry to know what God has in store for them and their families.

I just want to encourage other just to make themselves available for those "God Moments" in their lives. Don't get to busy and let those times pass you by.
